Placerville is great for everything but employment.
Human Resources (HR) Coordinator in Placerville:
Pros: Placerville is my home, the mountains, foothills, forests, rivers, lakes, and nature is beautiful and immersive. I love working in this environment but the jobs are few and far between.
Cons: There is definitely in/out groups and tight knit employment circles. It can be tough to break into. You are either a low level employee who will never rise to middle or upper management, or you are in the "in" group and you are at the top making 4x what the younger generation is making. There are few ways to bridge that gap and develop the experience and skills to traverse that bridge and earn more.

My job doesn't interact with other departments and/or department heads/managers beyond the recruiting process.

Cons: The slow times...such hiring freezes
