The good with the bad.
Hospital Pharmacy Technician:
Pros: I enjoy the people I work with and I enjoy the job I do which is restocking the drug rooms and making sure the levels are set correctly.
Cons: I feel as if I should be on a higher pay rate as I do several other things to do with the job that other people don't and I'm still the lowest paid, I feel taken advantage of.

Hospital Pharmacy Technician.
Hospital Pharmacy Technician:
Pros: The ability to gain new skills and help those in my community. I like that I am able to make suggestions and present proposals to help improve our services. I have been placed on many teams as the lead to get projects done and they have been successfully completed.
Cons: Even though new skills are learned there is no real upward mobility. The work environment can become toxic at times. The work load has changed in terms of more walking and compounding.

LowerLevel, pharmacy, please.......
Hospital Pharmacy Technician:
I have been in this industry for over 30 years. Hospital pharmacies never have windows to glance out of, most are located at he bottom of hospital, in the Lower Level(basement) where its cold . I have witnessed all the changes in the health care industries. Some for the good .the bad and the unfortunately ugly memories of "change". . I wish this to be read by all, "Team work equals Team Value" we are all in this together . Let the music play....day by day...listen to the music....it will make your day........peace.
