Pros: Good atmosphere, friendly co-workers. Not a huge amount of middle-management.
Cons: IT is most frequently the most under appreciated department. As such, the company is reluctant to spend money on this department.

Pros: Friendly people, relaxed environment, and the ability to learn new skills.
Cons: The lack of appreciation and pay for the job that I do. I'm worked at an IS Manager level but only paid for a Help Desk level position.
