HVAC Service Technician in Bowling Green:
Good job security but pay isn't. There is nothing in place for you to get a raise besides the minuscule 1-3% state raise yearly. They also put caps on what a person can eventually earn not that it matters when only gaining 1-3% yearly which is always under threat. Poor pay mixed with, pay to park at work, overmagement , constant raise of health care (which was free not that long ago) and general lack of support I recommend seeking employment elsewhere. But they do pay for college for you and your kids but they even took that away but employees got it back. Payscale is at the bottom and not read properly they even call us "air quality technicians" (whatever that is) when they seek out HVAC technicians. There are only 2 of us so they will know but maybe things could improve if more then 2 people know about the future of a HVAC at BGSU. Management and fellow coworkers are good people and nice to be around but there is alot of room for improvement that needs to be addressed.
