What is it like working as a Graphic Designer?

Its like playing with Colors.
Graphic Designer:
Pros: No Stress, no time boundary, very good timing.
Cons: No job security.

Graphic Designer:
Pros: I really enjoy the variety in my job, and I like to be able to manage my own time with where my workload priorities are. I enjoy seeing the designs I create come back from print, and I also enjoy seeing all of the new cutters and other products I design when they are finalized.
I also really like to see my illustrations being used this has been something that I have been really pleased to be able to do. I enjoy working along side Maree when she needs help with packaging illustrations, as it is a different part of my job that can be a nice change.
I also really enjoy working with everyone here and its nice to have such a great team of people in the office.
Cons: I can find it challenging when I have to work with people who can be negative, I like to work in a positive environment and it can sometimes drag me down. I feel that having meetings with all the design team would help this. I think discussing your issues your facing on specific projects might help everyone to understand what you’re working on. Workload can then be looked at and might help the situation.
I can also find it challenging when I look for new suppliers, especially when I am looking for something that is new to the company (and new to me as well!). It takes a lot of time to get the information and samples I need and sometimes this can take up hours from my day.

Graphic Designer:
Pros: I’ve always wanted to be versatile as a designer and not be restricted to one type of design. I believe a holistic approach towards design enables me to communicate to large audiences. This is the reason why I’d like to have the opportunity to explore the different facets of design.
Cons: Low pay scale, lack of appreciation.
