Graphic Designer:
Pros: I learn a lot of new things daily. Especially with different projects I can learn more about other industries Flexible. Supportive bosses.
Cons: The pay isn't good enough.

How it is like for a first time designer.
Graphic Designer:
Pros: The work is a good start for those who tend to push their career further in advertising and design.
Cons: Unsatisfied employees due to poor work condition (standard office without any decors or elements to motivate employees, we are creatives.) and poor salary with no benefits, real promotion or raise.

Satisfying work material, unsatisfying pay.
Graphic Designer:
Pros: The amount of creativity allowed to explore on a daily basis. Corporate culture.
Cons: Not financially recognized for my merits, hourly pay instead of salary, not paid enough, not given enough freedom to establish my own projects and manage myself. Office conditions.

School is good to learn skills such as adobe creative suite.

I wish I knew how low the salary is.

You need to really love design to be in Graphic Design.It is such a competitive and un-creative industry. You have a lot of responsibility and little reward. Rather go into something worth it, like Marketing, Project Management.Most designers end up leaving he field for better paying jobs.
