Front of House Receptionist Reviews
What is it like working as a Front of House Receptionist?
February 2020
Fast paced and rewarding.
Front of House Receptionist in Los Angeles:
Pros: Majority of coworkers friendly and coworkers are like family.
Cons: It gets really busy and sometimes hectic.
April 2019
It’s a fair job, but not a great one.
Front of House Receptionist in Atlanta:
Pros: A kind and respectful work environment
Cons: It can be very difficult and stressful at times
March 2016
No average Receptionist.
Front of House Receptionist:
Pros: I have previously worked as a Receptionist and it was nothing like my current role. There are no 2 days the same. I designed my job role and I continually evolve it. I am being trained up in other administrative duties. Plenty of room for advancing in my career.
Cons: One person team and have no support. I am self managed and my manager doesn't really know what my daily duties include. I cannot go to her for adviice or support as she is not familiar with Front of House. I have no proper cover so feel nervous taking my entitled annual leave. Can not afford to keep the job I love so much.
March 2016
More than a Receptionist.
Front of House Receptionist:
Pros: I have done reception work previously and my current job is nothing like reception work. No two days are the same and I have to be prepared to deal with whatever comes across my desk. I have varied responsibilities many of which no average receptionist could deal with. There are plenty of career opportunities.
Cons: I can not afford to keep this job that I love so much as the pay is so bad. I'm self managed, very rarely have time with my manager who knows very little about my job role. I'm a one person team and feel I have no support. I have no proper cover so I begrudge taking my entitled annual leave.
