Boss does not push being a certified fraud investigator.

Pros: Good benefits and paid time off. Decent pay, could be better.
Cons: Dealing with fraudsters. Unethical team members competing for stats.

Very challenging and yet exciting.
Fraud Investigator:
Pros: Solving complex crimes, understanding corruption at all levels. Reconstruction of crime and provide a detail report of what has transpired and assist in fraud awareness workshop to prevent and mitigate corruption.
Cons: Exposing perpetrators often leads to job losses and their dependants are always suffering. Some cases are not taken to steps necessarily to be taken.

Hidden Crime Fighter.
Fraud Investigator:
It can be long hours sitting. Many times you don't know the outcome of our investigations. Many times you do not need any special degrees and some companies train in house. But there are certain insurance claims classes you can take.
