What is it like working as a Forklift Operator?
October 2021
Working at boxer it's a great opportunity to gain experience not to build a life career because they don't pay well and they don't look after their drivers.

Crowded and One-Lane.
Forklift Operator in Elyria:
Pros: I don't have to interact with more than a handful of people on a day to day basis.
Cons: I don't feel as I'm paid enough for the job I was given, supposedly a lead job, but turned out to be all of that without the financial compensation to accompany the title.

Forklift Operator in Amarillo:

Cons: traveling from my home to amarillo

Forklift Operator in Buffalo:
Pros: Management let's you cruise through work on your own. No micromanagement, incentive based pay works well using the reach truck.
Cons: Revolving door of new hires, trainees last a week because the work is difficult at times and possible mandating of shift pushes people out the door. Incentive for selection changed recently and no longer "Incentive" to work there. Especially when you can make the same as a new hire at tim Hortons doing 5 percent of the labor.
August 2021
Long hours. Pushing myself to be motivated but just barely. Dont feel I should give 100% for zero recognition.
Forklift Operator in Winter Haven:
Pros: Cant say. I just need to pay my bills.
Cons: Working 6 days a week most weeks maybe 1 Saturday off a month no sick leave. No yearly raises. No week payed vacation. No dental for employees of the hourly rate no direct deposit...

Touring Kingston.
Forklift Operator in Kingston:

Becoming fed up after 10 years.
Forklift Operator in Mountain Top:
Pros: It's mostly calm and go at my own pace. The management is mostly good. Long term team that work mostly well together.
Cons: They treat 12 hour employees as 8 hour employees when it best fits, but treat 12 hr employees as 12 hr employees when it benefits them. They use a point system that doesn't seem to matter if they like you. Shift differentials are the same .50 for every shift.
