November 2018
Thriving community with a beautiful view.
Forensic Computer Analyst in Salt Lake City:
Pros: Vibrant city with many outdoor activities available along with a big city feel in a mid-size city community. The performing arts is comparable to New York City. The surrounding townships are welcoming with parks, shopping opportunities, schools, and housing. There is a big tech community to get involved with along the Silicon Slopes of the Salt Lake Valley. Manageable winters. Moderate cost of living. The Salt Lake City airport is active 24/7 and you can fly anywhere for a reasonable amount of money.
Cons: High paying jobs in the computer forensic field
November 2018
I work remote, so the town isn't very relevant although it is a nice place to live.
Forensic Computer Analyst in Pompano Beach:
Pros: Close to everything we need.
Cons: The hot sticky weather.
February 2016
Forensic Computer Analyst:

Cons: Work can be the same every day and the client does not take full advantage of the skill set present.
March 2014
Computer Forensic Analyst.
Forensic Computer Analyst:
Pros: Working for the government exposes you to a huge organization with many opportunities. You get to interface with people and systems across a wide range of enterprises that you just would not get in the private sector.
Cons: The current fiscal environment makes it impossible to retain solid talent, combined with a hiring freeze, you will be overworked and underpaid for the work you do. Even if you impress your upper management, broader DoD policy hampers them from rewarding you. Everyone you work with will do at least 5 different jobs and approvals to do things takes weeks, making even the simplest tasks Herculean efforts.
