Financial Coordinator Reviews

What is it like working as a Financial Coordinator?

June 2016
Giving it all everyday with little to no reward/thank you.
Financial Coordinator:
Do not take what clients say personally so that it won't affect your ability to do your job and that you may approach the next client with a clear and fresh perspective. Remember to not play in to the negativity and stress that your co-workers can have and instead try to see in what way you may be able to help them, even if that means getting out of the way. Decide early on which battles (ie: stray charges being entered consistently incorrect) are worth your time and energy and really matter to fight. The job in itself is exhausting and you may not want to spend extended time on something that is and probably always will be. Better to save it for the stuff that can hopefully actually change. Everyone on the floor and in the hospital really will come to you and expect you to know almost everything about anything. This is a learning experience and soon enough you will be a wealth of knowledge! Keep your head up and know that you are doing a great service for the hospital and the client.
