Watch Your Hours.
Film/TV Producer:
Television production can involve long hours. In my earlier years, I thought it was a good idea to put in 12 - 14 hour days to try and get ahead of the pack. It didn't make a difference. Stick to a 8-10 hour day and only work longer hours if you absolutely have to. Be strong and firm about this. People will respect you for it. Remember, if you cannot do what you are supposed to in 8-10 hours a day, then either you aren't the right person for the job or they are under-staffed. Don't make their under staffing issues your problem.
