Export management and supply.
Export Sales Manager:
Pros: International travel is fantastic, supplying global scale clothing brands and problem solving to bring great service to these customers is challenging and fun. Relatively free reign to perform.
Cons: Dealing with problems, being squeezed on price, remoteness of location means the majority of contact is done by email. Corporate culture gets more intense the higher you climb. Internaional customer demands are incessant.

Africa - The Current Market For South Africa.
Export Sales Manager:
Get yourself the right tools I.e. Education and languages used in most parts of Africa. The key languages are French, Portuguese and Swahili. Selling into Africa involves knowing and understanding different cultures (including business). The career unfortunately moves one away from knowing a great deal about the local market. This job is exciting and challenging at the same time. The travelling is exciting but the staying away from home, the "corruption" and safety concerns among other things are something else, a great challenge. I must add that this career pays very well, more especially when one has the right education, key language, experience and the possible the product.
