Executive Secretary Reviews

What is it like working as an Executive Secretary?

January 2016
Office Conditions.
Executive Secretary:
Pros: The position of secretary is critical to the successful management of SATSA. The secretary is the first point of contact for people interested in SATSA and who need information or details about activities. The secretary also helps in co-coordinating SATSA events such as National Transplant Games, World Transplant Games and fundraising activities. The secretary’s role is a challenging one. Often not seen as high profile, in actual fact the secretary is a key pivot point for all SATSA activities. This person is a valuable member of SATSA and contributes continuously to its success. Every effort should be made to support and value this person, whose duties may sometimes be repetitive and time consuming.
Cons: There is absolutely nothing that I don't like about my job.

Executive Secretary:
Do not work for 'free!' Establish best possible communications with immediate supervisor(s) Do NOT gossip.

What the true job description was.
Executive Secretary:
Check this website out first. Know your value. Don't give your skills away for free. Don't go above what is expected if they don't already appreciate what you do. Go somewhere else. You become your environment, so be selective. You have worked hard to do so.
October 2015

ENHANCING MY JOB.
Executive Secretary:
To be open to advice, be courteous, be professional at all times and always keep personal out of your job so it doesn't interfere with your duties. Multi-tasking is a must and remember that confidentiality is very important.
April 2015
Good.
Executive Secretary:
Pros: The colleagues, the future in the company, the company I work in -IHG-, my boss and somewhat the pay.
