Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Specialist Reviews
What is it like working as an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Specialist?
November 2021
Lots of Government and Contractor work.
Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Specialist in Washington:
Pros: Rub shoulders with decision and policy makers in the nation's capital.
Cons: Extremely hard to get a job working in government. You're usually shut out due to vets getting automatic preference over you. Leads to you being stuck as a contractor and given Congress's lack of ability to agree on a budget, when the govt shuts down, contractors aren't eligible for back pay while federal workers are. Contracting gives you the work of a fed without the perks or benefits of being one.
