Engineering Intern Reviews
What is it like working as an Engineering Intern?
June 2016
Internship concurrent with college.
Engineering Intern:
Pros: Great work environment.
Interns actually do useful work as opposed to getting people coffee.
Numerous opportunities to learn things they don't teach in college.
Cons: Office is a bit understaffed, no project gets more than a few people on it.
October 2014
Internships.
Engineering Intern:
Pros: I get great experience to contribute to my EIT before graduating. The corporate culture is great. I have definitely chosen the right career path.
Cons: I end up doing all the low-level tasks, both because that is what I was hired to do and because I lack the understanding to do the higher-level tasks, which are also by nature more interesting. A lot of the work is repetitive.
