Employee Relations Manager Reviews
What is it like working as an Employee Relations Manager?
October 2023
Beautiful Location and Plenty of Opportunities in Sunny San Diego.
Employee Relations Manager in San Diego:
Pros: I am a native San Diegan and have traveled many places. You can't beat the weather here it is wonderful most days.
Cons: Some environments and teams are not collegial they are too competitive and don't work well together as they are to worried bout themselves individually and climbing up the ladder. Also, transplant leaders not from CA have not necessarily done well.

Growing City with Small Town Feel.
Employee Relations Manager in Charlotte:
Pros: What I like most about working in Charlotte is that there are diverse industries one can pursue in their respective career fields while banking/financial institutions, healthcare, manufacturing, and technology seem to be the leading industries in the Charlotte-Metro region.
Cons: What I like least about working in Charlotte is that it is becoming more expensive factoring the cost of living and recent increasing inflation. However, for a metropolitan city, the vast majority of employers in most industries are not increasing wages comparable to the current cost of living climate. If you have to travel on I77 or 485 especially longer than 15 miles, traffic is a nightmare. Fortunately, I work from home about 20% of the time.
