Editorial Assistant Reviews
What is it like working as an Editorial Assistant?
May 2015
Great.
Editorial Assistant:
Pros: Experience, the end result.
Cons: Deadlines ;)
April 2015
Learn quickly and move up.
Editorial Assistant:
Pros: When I get a great author who reminds me why I love my job. Working with authors that are passionate about what they do really make you care about your work and the books you're helping create. I'm helping create great books--that's all I ever wanted to do.
Cons: Managing personalities is a big part of my job and sometimes it's exhausting. It's hard to be at the bottom of the food chain without tons of power when your superiors miss deadlines or don't work well with others.
