Know Your Rights.
Daycare Teacher:
This is a job with lots of responsibilities. It becomes stressful at times, but it can also very rewarding. I consider the daycare teacher as the most important of all levels of teachers. Daycare teachers form the educational foundation in young children, and it is on this foundation that all the other teachers build. Daycare teachers can never be fully compensated for the responsibilities laid upon them. They perform duties such as parents, doctor, lawyer, police, advisor, interpretor etc. Therefore, a daycare teacher must exercise such qualities as love, patience, tolerance, forgiveness, understanding, kindness, gentleness etc. Although daycare teachers are grossly underpaid, they are rewarded with the satisfaction of watching the children grow physically, excel academically, and become functionally productive members of society.
