The Non-Profit Life.
Database Coordinator:
Pros: I like the satisfaction of helping constituents with anything they need, whether I help them directly or refer them to someone else in a department that would better serve them. I also enjoy the organizational aspect of record keeping and acknowledgement letters for all gifts that arrive to the Chapter Office. The final piece of my job that I enjoy most is being able to meet new people on a daily basis and the ability to learn new things.
Cons: I don't enjoy the office politics, where many people seem to be in a "every man for himself" mentality. It seems that there is a lot of talking behind peoples' backs and not as much up-front communication.

Busy, Busy, Busy.
Database Coordinator:
Pros: First and foremost, I love the people I work for. They are the foundation of the organization, and I enjoy the level of work that has been given to me in my current position. It keeps me busy and focused on the current projects at hand.
Cons: I would appreciate longer hours considering the limited staff in my department as well as the deadlines that are given to us in such short notice.
