Cutter Operator Reviews

What is it like working as a Cutter Operator?

April 2015
Cutter summary.
Cutter Operator:
Pros: Being able to self manage my day instead of having a supervisor micro manage what I do and when I do it.
Cons: The pay isn't what it should be and the equipment is very old and finicky.
April 2014
Job.
Cutter Operator:
Pros: It's different and fast pasted.
Cons: The pay is too low for how much I have to do.
February 2014
Cutter Operator:
Pros: Good pay. Weekends work. Uniforms are provided and cleaned for us. Work boots are paid for along with safety glasses (prescription) Good benefits. Great co-workers. Cheap cheese.
Cons: Long hours 10 hour shifts of standing. Lots of lifting 50 pounds at a time. Crazy hours I work the day shift, 2:30am - 12:30 pm (yes that is right) The plant can be loud, noisy and hot - very stressful.
