What is it like working as a Customer Service Specialist?

Better than a salt mine.

Great Job uncapable Management.
Customer Service Specialist in Moncton:
Pros: I liked the direct contact with my customers and all the other customer service specialists I worked with in my department. I was proactive in solving and finding solutions for my customer. I took charge of my cases and worked within the parimeters of the company on their behalf
Cons: My manager was harassing me and kept me from advancing among all my other peers. She made my work-life hell. I was very stressed out. I went to the center manager to report how I was being treated and he sided with his manager. I finally got the chance to get out of that department but soon found out she had other plans for me as well. I trained for the new position 8 hours a day and she required I work after training for 5 extra hours per night. My body finally broke down and after many doctors examinations and 6 weeks at Workers Compensation Hospital, I was found to be disabled and given a long-term disability pension. I miss having a working life and would welcome tempory or very casual work of some kind. I am very capable mentally some days and others I have memory loss. Everyone wants to feel they contribute to their own welbeing.
