Cosmetologist:
It really comes down to your team and the owner you work for. Could the be best job I've ever had, could have also been my worst nightmare. Do your interview and check with the vibes of the store, ask how they feel about their owner and anyone above them. For new people, inexperienced, in the field I would highly recommend their training. 👍🏻

Cosmetologist:
Good for recent beauty school grads. They teach great basic fundamentals for basic haircuts. Compensation is below average. A lot of gossip. Ok for a temporary place but not ideal for long term career.

Cosmetologist in Cedar Rapids:
Pros: I love how close it is to other businesses, lots of people so lots of consumers.
Cons: The drive from my house is long. In the winter the drive is horrible.

Pros: Lone the culture, feel extremely under payed. Feel it's not fair to be payed so little for so ml much experience.

Pros: Working with the elderly.
Cons: Hair Care Center has no windows small and cramped for wheel chairs only out of room for work breaks and getting and returning residents some are very difficult and the majority of the time can only acomidate one.
