Consultant, Public Relations Reviews

What is it like working as a Consultant, Public Relations?

December 2017
Branding specialist.
Consultant, Public Relations in Rotterdam:
Pros: After 5 years of experience in PR and storytelling for different agencies, I have found my specialty in searching for the purpose of brands. Abstracting a company’s DNA is my favorite and most rewarding thing to do. Once we figured out why we do, what we do and where we want to go, creativity for PR and storytelling will follow.
April 2014
Meet The Press.
Consultant, Public Relations:
Go to meet press personnel in person, whenever possible. This job is all about relationships. For those of you with journalistic leanings or training, there are very few jobs in the traditional press but you can write your own news for your clients because papers can't afford to pay for copy, but clients will. Tell the best story as briefly as possible, and make your copy clean, and it will often be picked up verbatim. Stress levels are high due to multiple tight due dates. Career path: sharing your expertise with multiple clients or picking up more experience and training and going into branding. It's all about telling a good story succinctly; as Bernadette Jiwa says, not "How can I sell more?" but "How can I make the most difference?" Excel by managing expectations and exceeding them every time.
