The Up's & Down's of working in Dubai in the Construction.
Construction Manager in Dubai:
Pros: The city surroundings, the hustle and bustle of daily life. The enormous amount of different nationalities - an absolute melting pot of people. The cleanliness, poverty and crime free environment. And relatively pollution free. The availability of everything possible under the sun - delivered to your door step.
Cons: The working hours are too long, traffic is a nightmare and cost of living and entertainment is very high. Government bureaucracy, business transaction are slow and generally everything is a 'song & dance'. Worst of all - nobody wants to take responsibility for simple business decisions and therefore everything takes thrice as long. Paper work is enormous and tiresome.
