Computer Technician Reviews
What is it like working as a Computer Technician?
June 2014
Varied And Interesting.
Computer Technician:
Pros: You get a lot of variety, meet and help a lot of different people. The problems faced day to day are constantly evolving and there is some exposure to higher-level IT work.
Work environment is pretty relaxed and conditions flexible.
Cons: The higher-level IT stuff is limited in quantity.
Workload fluctuates quite a bit.
There is no "up", as this is a small business. This is the reason it's so relaxed, but at the same time, once you're up to speed there is little opportunity to grow further.

Cons: The politics can be cumbersome sometimes.

Computer Technician:
Pros: Flexible work schedules. Fun job. There's always something new to learn everyday. You know more and more everyday about computers and new technology.
