What is it like working as a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter?
January 2022
Good opportunity if you know how to search for it.
Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter in Dallas:
Pros: The amount of companies headquartered here gives a lot of options for finding work in various fields, mostly corporate sphere. The city itself is fairly cosmopolitan and wealthy compared to the surrounding areas and there's a lot to do.
Cons: The corporate sphere aspect does render the city feeling a bit soulless and materialistic. For every person here that seems genuine and cultured, there are two that are shallow and consumerist, and that tends to be reflected in company cultures in the area. An abundance of workaholics and one-upmanship.
