What is it like working as a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer?

Work Flexibility.
Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer:
Pros: I am part-time, and have very flexible hours. The company is very Family-oriented, and understanding when I have to stay home with my sick toddler (which seems to be a lot).
Cons: I feel like I sit and do nothing work related most of the time in the last year because there's nothing for me to do. And when I leave after 4 hours, I am always asked if I'm leaving, like there's something to do even though I've asked everybody in the office for work and been denied. It is ALWAYS cold in my office because the dual system was set up incorrectly. I feel like I'm wasting their time/money and MY time/life.

Cons: Some of the people, tends to be clique-ish.
