Commercial Driver Reviews
What is it like working as a Commercial Driver?
November 2015
Avoid it if you can; Avoid it if you cant.
Commercial Driver:
Pros: Meeting cool, new people every day and seeing/exploring new places. Learning about new and interesting experiences. Putting advice from others to immediate, practical, and everyday use.
Cons: Managers or higher ranking employees are highly disrespectful, ignorant, rude, cruel, selfish and have very little to no social skills. Non-helpful. One track minds. Excessive and needless office politics. They are never satisfied with anything. They complain about everything even when they are the direct cause of the problem. Every day there is a new rule. Rules are always made on-the-fly. Tremendously annoying superiority and deity-like complexes. Everything is about them or MUST be about them, regardless of the situation at hand. Poor communication; They wait until something breaks or someone gets hurt to fix urgent, easy-to-fix issues. Not talking or otherwise any non-communication with them means your having an absolutely fabulous day! They will somehow, someway find some fault or flaw about you or simply create one if they cant.
