Clinical Research Nurse:
Pretty good pay and benefits. Excellent tuition reimbursement esp. For nurses ($12k/yr) to get your MSN. Not much growth potential unless you’re there for over 10 years which is easy to do because of the pension you receive for 3% of your sataky after you’re vested 3 years in.

Exciting And Challenging: Developing Research In Primary Care.
Clinical Research Nurse:
Pros: Developing working relationships with GP surgeons, promoting research development and encouraging practice nurse development with training and support. Providing support in the delivery of research to practice patients. The national average response rate is 10%, in Northamptonshire this is between 15 and 25%. I believe this is partly due to the public being more research aware and the positive open engagement between all stakeholders. Engagement with academic research teams as well as University hospital teams to develop good study procedures.
