City Administrator Reviews
What is it like working as a City Administrator?
July 2017
Changing the Culture of a Bad Reputation.
City Administrator in Roman Forest:
Pros: Being involved in useful work for the citizens of our city. Upgrading our infrastructure that hasn't been touched in 40 years, upgrading the parks and recreation and making sure the city funds are protected. Empowering people to be able to make decisions about their area and making sure they follow through.
The most important thing I like about my job is that I have been able to change the perception of the city from a bad reputation and misappropriation of funds to a city that cares about the residents and is fiscally responsible.
Cons: The residents that complain on social media and don't bother to call city hall to find out what is really happening. The personal attacks on our mayor and council on social media. Most of the time the information is inaccurate but people think it is the truth.
