Chef Assistant Reviews

What is it like working as a Chef Assistant?

October 2019
Could Do Better Than Where I Am Right Now.
Chef Assistant in Salem:
Pros: I enjoy many of the fridge benefits; unlike my previous fast food job, the kitchen has air conditioning, I get a free meal for every shift, and smoking is prohibited in the building.
Cons: It's been a year since I've worked for Chick Fil A, and all I've doing most of my shift is working on one station, which is preparing the buns for the sandwiches. I've been wanting to learn new tasks in the kitchen, but my managers never took the time to train me, even though I've asked them before. Generally, I've felt very underappreciated at work.
