Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Reviews

What is it like working as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)?

March 2020
Feel right at home.
Certified Scrummaster (CSM) in Vancouver:
Pros: I am trusted as a Scrum Master to help shape high performing teams.
Cons: The scramble when we take on too much work at the same time. We're not good at deprioritizing.
April 2019
Certified Scrummaster (CSM) in Dallas:
It is not a employee friendly company. They focus on numbers and not on people. So no growth for employees both financially and professionally. You will get stuck in your career. HCL cuts every corner to maintain their operating margin. You will get good performance rating in annual appraisals, but will not get any monetary increase in your salary. No long term vision. Every this planned in adhoc fashion.
February 2019
A great agile engineering culture with lots of autonomy given to teams.
Certified Scrummaster (CSM) in Toronto:
Pros: Heavy investment in trusting people, and valuing teams over individuals.
Cons: With great autonomy comes great responsibility.

Certified Scrummaster (CSM) in Hyderabad:

Cons: Repeating things

Fast Paced, Constant Chaos, Learn Fast.
Certified Scrummaster (CSM) in Seattle:
Pros: It's a vibrant city; massively varied cultures and opportunities to learn and grow if you're willing to take risks and move between companies and take job opportunities and network.
Cons: Loyalty to a company is dead. It's almost frowned upon. People are shocked if you've stayed for more than 2yrs with a company and you'll hear "I've been here *forever*" said by people who have been with a company for 3-4 years. It's expected that you change companies often to get ahead and learn. I think that kind of sad as I like to make friends and a "family" where I work and that kind of culture has died. I don't think that's just in Seattle, but it's definitely very, very common here.
January 2019
Awesome place to work.
Certified Scrummaster (CSM) in Durham:
Pros: Right downtown, with a lot around it
Cons: Commute from outside of Durham isn't always the greatest
November 2018
Corporate and Professional.
Certified Scrummaster (CSM) in Johannesburg:

Cons: Traffic
