Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Reviews

What is it like working as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)?

January 2019
Alot of bullying going on. Managers DO NOT make the bullies or trouble makers accountable for their actions.Same game but different rules depeding on the employee.
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) in Nashville:
Pros: I make a different in the patient and their family's lives.
Cons: The gossip and bullying. Is NOT dealt the same with everyone. I do not like the way HR "investigates" issues. Very secretive. HR will investigate and arrive at a solution with interviewing people who are not involved. Too much hearsay.

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT):
Management controls every move you make and doesn't allow you to do your job, without complaining. You will never get a raise or any incentive other than a paycheck. The cost of insurance has gone up as well as the copays. They have gotten rid of the workers, yet keep the upper management. This is supposed to be a critical access hospital, but there is no longer a respiratory department. The nurses are expected to do all respiratory and cardiac emergencies without proper training on using ventilators. This was the worst job I have ever had and I am happy to say I have moved on!!
