Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) Reviews
What is it like working as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)?
October 2016
Fulfilling.
Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP):
Pros: Helping people.
Cons: Insurance.
July 2015
Challenging.
Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP):
Pros: Regular scheduled hours, diagnosing and treating and teaching patients.
Cons: Not getting paid for anything other than my "20 patient hours" each week. That means the extra time at meetings and extra hours charting each day afterwards isn't paid at all.
I feel that I am expected to work and have the responsibilities of a doctor and get paid like a Registered Nurse. I didn't get any pay raise when compared to what I used to do, because before I was at least paid for the time that I worked.
