People I work with are great, corporate... Not so great...

Cons: Live in a small, resort town that's growing where people expect to be treated "special"

Great Job.

Pros: I like the challenge of the responsibilities of the job. Its a nice feeling that a pharmacist relies on us even though we are not educated like them. Patients put a lot of trust in us and as a whole team and it is a upstanding job. Its nice to hear patients appreciate the hard work we do for them.
Cons: Extremely Stressful, especially when you are understaffed. Peoples lives our in our hands and you have to be very focused and very detailed to laws and what is specific to your pharmacy. Errors made could harm someone very badly so if your software in the pharmacy is not working correctly and you have to spend extra time on QC your work it makes wait times longer and in return making patients mad. Another Con is patients to do not understand we are not just pulling drugs off a shelf and slapping a label on them there is much work. Insurance is another big issue, and when Drs call in scripts that are in-compliant, not on patients formulary, has drug interaction, or patient has an allergy yo the med prescribed.

Cons: Some rude people we may face everyday.

Cons: For all the work we do the techs should get paid a lot more than they do.
