Another Stressful and confusing day with management.

Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) in Denver:
Cons: Too low of pay for such high living expenses. Worse than any other city I’ve lived in. We’ve even had Drs turn down job offers due to cost of living in Denver

I love the work; not sure about how it's run.
Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) in Tyler:
Pros: working in the medical field
Cons: when administration is unrealistic about expectations

Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT):
Doctors in ophthalmology are great but administrators are not. Supervisor does know what our jobs entail so her decisions don’t make good sense. Pay freezes and benefit cuts are the reason I switched jobs to eliminate the hour drive from the quad cities.
January 2019
I love my job title and helping patients.
Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) in Lansing:
Pros: Making the patients happy and giving them great customer care

March 2015
Long hours.

Need to be flexible with work hours.
