Business Operations Manager Reviews
What is it like working as a Business Operations Manager?
May 2016
I am reliable, committed, and competent.
Business Operations Manager:
Pros: I enjoyed the cross-cultural communications and the strong bonding with the team members from my seven subcontractors. It is a challenge to manage people from different cultural background and mentality, yet to collaborate together to achieve the same goals, and I have done it with great success in the past years. I believe most of the success of my business negotiation on pricing and support are mainly due to the creditable & reliable relationship that I have developed with my subcontractors. Throughout the past 8 years, we have built good partnership, and we are now inter-dependant to achieve our business goals.
Cons: I am under-paid by my company despite the fact that I am their core support in Asia with multiple job tasks, wide job responsibilities, and having a strong influencing power over our subcontractors. My immediate superior has overlooked my remuneration package in the past years, and I felt very demotivated in this aspect.
