November 2015
Business Analyst (Unspecified Type):
Pros: I like that I get to work with incredibly smart people. They are all experts in their fields, and I have access to our executive leadership.
Cons: I do not like the lack of work. My company struggles to utilize my skill set. We also do not have a strong sense of culture or team.
October 2015
Like work I do. Future of company is iffy. Pay is kept on DL.
Business Analyst (Unspecified Type):
Pros: I like the work I do and the freedom I have to work on projects. I don't do the same thing everyday. I work with every person in the company in some manner. Because it is a small business I can make a difference easily. I am 4th longest tenured employee and thus am asked for help a lot which I like helping people. Favorite thing is helping people be more efficient be it with Excel or whatever.
Cons: The payscale is an unknown to all. I am looked at as mainly just the data guy and not a business guy even though I have vast knowledge on the business being tenured longer than almost everyone else at the company.
September 2015
Love it.
Business Analyst (Unspecified Type):
Pros: Flexibility, stress level, love working with the operations teams.
Cons: It's frustrating trying to find others with the same skill set to bounce ideas off of, and it can also be frustrating trying to communicate different ideas with management and find out what they truly need.
