Pros: Pay is good- bonus and occasional telework allowed.
Cons: Highly disorganized. Working methods are not best practices- lots of business units work in silos and doesn't allow for much improvements. Lots of pressure- too much work for some while others seems to have not enough.

Gather requirements not solutions.
Business Analyst, IT:
Very often, in this environment where people have been working in the same job and with the same systems for a long time, they tend to come to you with solutions and as opposed to requirements. (We should avoid being just a paper pusher) e.g. I need MII to be enhanced to do X or Y. Very often though, when you understand the business problem and the ideal situation, the solution may be very different.
