Brand Strategist Reviews
What is it like working as a Brand Strategist?
December 2013
Brand Strategist In Healthcare, Marketing Research.
Brand Strategist:
Pros: I like hearing about people's experiences with different health conditions/treatments (patients, caregivers, and physicians) and digging deeper to understand their needs and challenges. I like being challenged to produce a high level of output, which includes qualitative data analysis, triangulation across methods, an in-depth report, and recommendations to clients. I like working with smart, empathetic people who use their marketing experience to find solutions that improve people's lives while building successful brands.
Cons: The hours (whatever it takes to get the job done, including early starts, late nights, weekends, holidays...). That management is not transparent when it comes to career development (i.e. Promotions, salary ranges).
