Brand Marketing Manager Reviews

What is it like working as a Brand Marketing Manager?

May 2023
Lots of opportunity, lots of swindlers.
Brand Marketing Manager in Chicago:
Pros: Every year we have more and more companies opening offices here. Commutes are relatively easy and the city offers great opportunities for team development.
Cons: Many companies think that because we're not NYC or LA, they can get away with paying well below market. Companies will lie about wages on job posts etc. Companies also often claim their offices are in Chicago to attract top talent living in city-limits, but their offices are actually in the suburbs which are hard to access without a car.
September 2022
Great Location to look into Early Stage/Emerging Tech Companies.
Brand Marketing Manager in Orlando:
Pros: Orlando is in early stages of building their own local tech scene. With entertainment brand such as Universal and Disney, as well as home of EA Sports, alongside a number of fast growing companies within the central Florida area, it's a good spot to gain entry level tech experience. It is also a place full of diversity, which strong community minority group representation such as the very active Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando (one of the largest chambers in the nation).
Cons: Orlando is still young and remains a major SMB/mid-market scene for tourism and hospitality markets. With a hyper growing start up scene mixed with very few established brands, for individuals looking to gain strong senior and director level experience the options are very limited. At the same time, compensation plans are not as comprehensive as those in other locations in comparison to the increasing cost of living within the metro regions - especially for caregivers and families. Also for those in fields outside of Retail, Hospitality, and Tourism - opportunities are very limited and competition is fierce for positions at top rated companies.

Unfailry Valued and Compensated for Work the Delivers.
Brand Marketing Manager in Atlanta:

Cons: That my work has been taken for granted and I've experienced lots of battles to do work the leadership team knows is great.
March 2022
Opportunities but in tight competition.

Cons: Hours are long and expectations are high

Cons: Blurred lines with roles at times
February 2022
A culture of tone deaf for employees.
Brand Marketing Manager in Atlanta:

Cons: My Director’s leadership style and lack of diverse leadership voices.
January 2022
Candidate driven market.
Brand Marketing Manager in Sydney:
