Learn how to talk to and comfort the public around your work site early on. Know the risks of the job and the products the you handle daily. Be aware of your coworkers well being on the job and sometime off the job at all time. Always seek the additional training when available and share that with the co-workers you manage. Share some of your responsibilities with a trusted co-worker that you know and trust to lighten your work load. Never assign work you wouldn't first do yourself.
