The amount of lazy people in the industry.

Discover new people. Discover new beer.
Bartender:
Pros: Craft beer is great! It's exciting to learn about and it's even cooler that so many different walks of life can come together to enjoy such a great thing! I love to meet new people and learn what they like! It's fun to impress patrons by greeting them by name or remembering what they had when they stop in on future visits! It makes me feel as appreciated, as they are to me!
Cons: Lack of communication.
Lack of preparation.
Stress level.
Management.
November 2015
It can get boring.
Bartender:
Pros: I can pick my schedule and enjoy interacting with people.
Cons: Tired of dealing with drunk people.
July 2015
Very long hours. Hard work, filthy conditions. Low pay.
Bartender:
Pros: I like most socialising with the other young waiters as it makes standing on your feet for 16 hours bearable. I also like that we get half price food on the days we work.
Cons: The manager is born straight out of hell.
The place has cockroaches.
The pay is pathetic.
No half price alcohol after work.
Very long hours.
Place is falling apart.
May 2015
Really enjoyable, social and different everyday.
Bartender:
Pros: The social aspect as well as the fact that everyday it is different, new customers, drinks and challenges. The hours work well around university study as well. The management are great and accommodate me very well too.
Cons: Aggressive or rude customers, some late nights and slow, boring shifts when it is really quiet. But overall these are outweighed by the easy-going nature of the job.
December 2013
Bartender:
Pros: I enjoy the friendliness of the staff and the way in which the bar is run. I prefer to work at the events held there, weddings etc.
Cons: The long hours and never having a set finishing time.
