Barber Reviews
What is it like working as a Barber?
November 2022
It’s a busy city.
Barber in Chicago:
Pros: I love that it’s such a fast paced city and there’s so many options for work especially if you’re in a creative driven career.
Cons: It’s very competitive and you really need to put yourself out there to be known.
October 2021
Should make more for the change in cost of living.
Barber in Toronto:
Pros: The atmosphere and more traffic in my line of work
Cons: I feel I don't make as much money as I should for the living in toronto
January 2020
Dallas Texas Employment.
Barber in Dallas:
Pros: That there are so many opportunities to choose from.
Cons: That age plays such a big part of the hiring process even though jobs say it doesn't.
January 2020
Treated like a monkey.
Barber in Virginia Beach:
Pros: Its easy and meeting all kinds of people.
Cons: I know i am a top money maker yet i am not a top earner. So we are not paid based on performance witch is NOT how cosmetology is always been. Great clips should pay us commission. a drain on the buisness should not make the same and or more than a hard worker. I make more money for owner so i should be compensated. im paid the same as a mentally ill, 19yr old who messes up her services routinely. shes rude because shes mentally not normal. Shes lazy too. No cleaning or helpping like a team
December 2019

November 2019
I said it before and I will say it again, it's been a very good company to me.
Barber in Runnemede:
Pros: It is a very interactive employer. There are many layers to this company.
Cons: Least is that there is always talk of the pay changing and hours changing; and people leaving, and people being hired.
July 2019
My job.
Barber in Pretoria:
Pros: I am given a chance to upgrade my way of cutting and working with clients
Cons: Contract worker for 3 years already salary is little no yearly raise no sick leave paid even with doctor or clinic letter no paid holiday leave work 6 days a week without day off in the week and I work alone so do everything in shop alone even cleaning no lunch time because I work alone.
