Banking Electronic Transfer Coordinator Reviews

What is it like working as a Banking Electronic Transfer Coordinator?

January 2014
Banking Electronic Transfer Coordinator:
Pros: The work is actually fun, very detailed and with much responsibility. But it is easy enough and I enjoy the contact with personnel of the companies we look after and shareholders. My co-workers in other departments are awesome. My general manager is an amazing person and very supportive and positive.
Cons: Working in the cage. Since I have three awful people to work with there, it is very difficult to maintain a positive attitude. Locked in a room with people who draw attention to every little error, and never highlight the good you do is extremely demoralizing. There is a lot of bad language and things talked about that are unprofessional. My direct manager is a trouble maker, and a joke as a leader. Not sure how they got where they are. If I could work more independently and not listen to these people all day, I would really love my job. I have asked to transfer out but there is nothing at the moment. Working in the cage really does require specific personalities that have a lot of respect for each other and training for the manager. Or at the very least, a very mature professional manager.
