Hard to advance in pay.
Automotive Service Technician / Mechanic:
It is the sum of many professions pounder into one, it is very hard, does not pay well, and as an added bonus, you spend thousands and thousands of dollars of your own money to provide your own tools and toolbox. I gave been in the field for 6 years and I have almost 20,000 invested in tools alone.

Its tough and getting tougher. So many new electronic systems, go to school and pay attention. Always keep your head and dont let your temper get you. Most importantly communicate with co workers and customers.
