Audiology Technician Reviews
What is it like working as an Audiology Technician?
May 2019
Audiology Technician in Pensacola:
I love serving my fellow veterans and the organization provides world class care despite the politically charged negative media attention we receive. That said we are short staffed and have to pick up the slack of unfilled positions. The organization has done a fantastic job of focusing on the veteran and has completely turned its back on its employees. The current culture and morale is terrible. There's absolutely no reward for outstanding performance or contribute, no upward mobility and the pay has not kept pace with the civilian sector. Patient care will suffer if the organization doesn't spend some time focusing on the culture and its employees. Retirement is decent, hours are good, benefits are exceptional, pay is terrible, upward mobility is non-existent and the environment is the worst I've ever experienced. Do not look for a job with the Department of Veteran Affairs.
