Associate Software Engineer Reviews
What is it like working as an Associate Software Engineer?
March 2020
Horrible working conditions.
Associate Software Engineer in Mumbai:
Cons: Work irrelevant to education background. Constant beration and feeling of underappreciation. No respect for the individual. Insane work hours. Ridiculous pay standards.
February 2020
Great location but terrible commute experience.
Associate Software Engineer in Makati City:

Cons: Commute and traffic are terrible.
February 2020
Great company, relaxed atmosphere, Tyson's Virginia is a Soulless Hellhole.
Associate Software Engineer in McLean:
Pros: Love the freedom, pay, and work life balance. My manager is great and everyone I've met at the company is competent and friendly.
Cons: The location is terrible, Tyson's is a soulless corporate hellhole with no redeeming qualities and they recently implemented unassigned seating which is affecting how I work. Coupled with the lack of work from home makes for a relatively hard work environment for me.
January 2020
Good Work-Life balance but less development.
Associate Software Engineer in Hyderabad:
Pros: Good enough time to learn things
Cons: don't have opportunities to increase knowledge
October 2019
Box full of surprises.
Associate Software Engineer in Bangalore:
Pros: Ability to learn and grow and opportunities
Cons: Traffic and distance to go from home to office
September 2019
Work is good, but the paygrade is lesser.
Associate Software Engineer in Pune:
Pros: Work Environment.
Cons: Salary hikes.
September 2019
Slow start, easy work, Management is hands-off.
Associate Software Engineer in Richardson:
Pros: I have ample time to complete my work. The developer that assigns me user stories is quick and to the point with what I need to do. My one teammate is a really hard worker and I respect these two people a great deal.
Cons: Other than the two people I work with, I have no direction from Infosys nor our client. I often have no work when me and my teammate get finished with our tasks ahead of time. Communication with Offshore is often-times very difficult, but I lucked out with the developer helping me currently. Our first months on this project were plagued by bad Knowledge transfer sessions and a lack of real progress being made. Leadership on our project was at one point completely absent as our manager moved to a different project and our overarching team had no Infosys leadership. The person that took over for the leadership after complaints didn't communicate well and still very rarely communicates.
