Pros: The idea of getting to see a tangible product to which you can say "I helped build that" is amazing. The connections you make by being involved with so many trades allows for movement and opportunities to appear. The people are much more down to earth. Don't have to watch what you say quite as much as a normal desk job.
Cons: As it is construction, the hours are never very consistent. We are asked to work far more than 40 hours a week. The stress associated with this job is rather high. Our company is understaffed for the amount of work we are doing.
